Welcome to Fremont
Quiet, spacious neighborhoods in the “Happiest City in the US”
Located in the East Bay, Fremont gives residents a quick commute both to San Francisco and Silicon Valley. You can cross the bay in less than 30 minutes via I-84. Most residents are car-dependent, but Fremont does have access to the subway system and a district bus service. It’s close to Pacific Highway 1. There are nature preserves and stunning beaches a short drive away, including Santa Cruz Beach and Montara State Beach.
Fremont is a quiet, residential area with incredibly diverse neighborhoods. Unlike San Francisco, the weather is sunny and temperate year-round. Living spaces range from large hilltop houses with spectacular views to low-rise, resort-style condominiums within walking distance to restaurants downtown. There are plenty of green spaces, beautiful natural scenery, and community events throughout the year. It’s been continually ranked as the “Happiest City in the U.S.”
